Intro to Meditation Workshop

Are you curious about meditation but not sure where to start?

Are you wondering what the benefits of meditation are?

Do you already meditate and are wanting to expand your practice or learn the science behind it?

This workshop is for you! You will learn the science behind Meditation and the benefits it can bring to your life. We will experience several meditations together, ending with Yoga Nidra - a deep form of guided meditation that is intended to induce total physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. Meditation is a great way to reduce stress and anxiety while bringing more peace and calmness to our lives.

This workshop is hosted by Becky Giles. Becky is a 200 hour Yoga Instructor and a 200 hour Meditation Instructor, and holds many certifications in different styles of yoga. Sanitized mats and bolsters will be provided at the studio.

“I believe that the slowing down we receive from meditation is exactly what our world needs right now. My goal is to ensure yoga and meditation are accessible to everyone, at every age, so you can reap the many benefits in your life.” - Becky Giles
